Excise officials have arrested two persons for illegally transporting foreign liquor in a two-compartment truck at Valvan on the Pune-Bangalore highway. In the action taken, 60 lakh items have been confiscated.
According to information received, truck driver Babulal Mewada and cleaner Sampatlal Mewada, both residents of Bhilwara in Rajasthan, have been arrested.
